Two Christmas Card Ideas Using One Card Sketch – Short Cut Card Sketch #32

Hey Guys! Looking for Christmas card making ideas? Want a fun way to use your favorite patterned paper and holiday stamps? Let’s make two different Christmas cards using Short Cut Card Sketch #32!

Today, I’m sharing a Gnome Santa Christmas Card and a Gingerbread Man Christmas Card. Both cards use the same sketch, but different Stampin’ Up! bundles and designer series paper to create two completely different looks.

Card sketches are a great way to get started when you need a little inspiration. You can follow the layout as shown or give it a little twist to fit your style.

Card 1: Gingerbread Man Christmas Card

Our first Christmas card is all about gingerbread sweetness!

I used Timeless Christmas Designer Series Paper for the layers and then added gingerbread guys from the Home For Christmas Bundle.

The sentiment, “May Your Christmas Be as Sweet as a Warm Cookie,” is the perfect finishing touch for this adorable Christmas card.

You will find that adorable greeting in our next featured bundle, the Merry Mischief Bundle.

Card 2: Gnome Santa Christmas Card

For the second card, I kept the same sketch but changed the colors, patterned paper, and focal image.

Alpine Winter Designer Series Paper gives this card a cool winter look. I colored the gnome from the Merry Mischief Bundle using Secret Sea, Peaceful Pine, and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends.

The “Holly Jolly Greetings” sentiment completes this festive design!

It’s amazing how different the same layout can look with a new combination of paper and stamped images!
