Hey Guys! Welcome to Day 1 of the Quick & Sweet Valentine Treats Series. Let’s craft a cute little tote for these adorable Valentine’s Day Mini Plush Teddy Bears I found on Amazon. Are they not the cutest?!
Our Kitchen Table Stamper Craft Social challenge for this week is to take any layering shape or large shape dies you have in your collection and make a tote or treat box out with it.
There is a simple formula to help you make a box for any dies.
Decide how big the box should be for the dies and treat you want to use. Take the length that you want plus the height times two, and then the width that you want, plus the height times two. That will give you the paper size you should start with.
Score that paper on all four sides at the height you want.
EXAMPLE:
My box is 2-3/4 x 1-3/4″ and the height is 1-1/4″
My cardstock is (2-3/4 + 1-1/4 +1-1/4 = 5-1/4″) x (1-3/4 + 1-1/4 +1-1/4 = 4-1/4″) 5-1/4 x 4-1/4″ and I scored all around at 1-1/4″
