I will display all six items (and much more) at card making class for your inspiration. Do you live in the Chicago area? Want to join me for an A Muse Studio Card Making Class? Hello from your A Muse Studio Consultant! It is a chilly rainy day. I call that stamping weather! I am locked in my studio all day today. There is so much that I have to get done for YOU! I thought I might talk to you today about my creative process. Lots of stampers ask me how I make a card or paper craft project. It varies, but often starts this way:
First I will choose a color palette, I usually do that with A Muse Studio Card Stock. Here I have:
Then once my color palette develops, I grabbed my Amuse stamps. This color palette was begging to be paired with A Muse Studio Bottle Rockets (also available June 2015).
Last step before I get started with the actual card making is to do a mad grab of any A Muse Studio Dies, accessories and embellishments that fit or enhance the theme that is developing.
As you can see from the picture, I don’t hold back! I grab anything that might work or anything that I might want to feature. Obviously I can not use all of this on one handmade card or paper craft project. The object is to get the creative juices flowing and make more than one card or project in a sitting. I need to be efficient to keep you inspired.
Well, that’s it for today. Come back Wednesday for a look at one of the handmade cards I made with this pile of A Muse Studio goodies!

Hey by the way – did you know that searching product number is the BEST way to find what you are looking for when ordering A Muse Studio products online. That’s why I take the time to look them up for you!
STEP ONE: Stamp your image from A Muse Studio Floral Duet with StazOn Ink on Crystal Clear Cardstock. Flip the cardstock over.
Mix your glaze. Pour out some Crystal Clear Glaze for each color you are going to mix. Drip a little bit of Splash! Ink beside the Crystal Clear Glaze. Don’t touch the glaze with the end of the sprayer – you might clog your Splash! Ink.
STEP TWO: Use a small wet paint brush to mix the Crystal Clear Glaze and Splash! Ink together until the color is a well blended.
STEP THREE: Paint your image with the different color glaze. Don’t move too slow but don’t panic either. Just keep in mind that the edges of your image are going to start drying right away. Work from the inside out if you can.
STEP FOUR: Sprinkle the wet glaze with A Muse Studio Diamond Glitter. Let the glaze dry completely and cut out your image. Use 3D Foam Adhesive or Crystal Clear Glaze to adhere you brand new stained glass piece to your project.
Here is a picture of the back (left) and front (right) of your finished piece. I am closing out with a picture of the finished card one more time. Thank you for sticking around with me for the whole tutorial. Come back tomorrow for a May Card Class preview – it’s going to be a retirement party!
