It’s been a busy week – Max’s birthday was Tuesday. I love that guy with all that I am. One flesh, he is mine and I am his. We, Desi, Violet, G and I, (BUT mostly Desi) managed to pull together a little birthday party Tuesday night.
It’s been a sad week – Olive, our little fish who thought she was a dog, died Tuesday. It was a sad slow death. Dying slow should be illegal. It was so hard to watch her want to swim up and greet me every time I walked past, but she was not physically able. Today, I miss her. Years of playing with her every morning and talking to her eager face every time I walked by built a habit hard to break.
I feel like my whole life is just trying to catch up between one difficult or challenging day and another, but such is life. Thank you for all the ways you encourage me. I would quit if it wasn’t for you. I hope and pray that I bring joy and creativity into your life.
