It is snowing like crazy here today. I am glad I am inside. It’s a great day for paper crafts! The weather outside inspired me to share this snow cap treat bag. My snow cap is CASE of Chris Franco’s little cap made from an oval. Instead of an oval, I used the A Muse Studio Large Mitten Die to cut a 3×3 square of A Muse Studio Bermuda Chevron Cardstock into a snow hat shape. I put the cardstock square on the die covering the finger tip end of the mitten. Then I secured it with washi tape so it wouldn’t shift while I cut it. I ran the die through my Big Shot. That left me with a kind of long semicircle. To make my mitten fingers look like a hat, I embellished with A Muse Studio Vanilla Felt, a handmade pompom, and a heart border. The Vanilla Felt is hot dog half of the A Muse Studio Large Stocking Die Set cuff. I covered the edge of the Vanilla Felt with a welded heart border. Check out my last post for a video how to make a welded heart border using A Muse Studio Scalloped Border Die Set and Pinking Border Die Set. The hat makes a great tag for your A Muse Studio Paper Bags. I hope you are staying warm today. Happy paper crafts people!
