I am having fun learning to scrapbook again! A Muse Studio products are great for scrapbook pages as well as cards. I found these pictures from my first Christmas as Mrs. Alvarez. These pictures are from 2003.  The colors in the photos worked so well with the papers, I had to get these memories preserved!

Here is the left side close up.  Pictured left to right, Max Alvarez, our daughter Desi. The stamp sentiment, from A Muse Studio’s Deck the Halls, inside the wreath says “At Christmas, all roads lead home” I thought that was the perfect sentiment for Max and my first Christmas as husband and wife. Those of you who know us, know that we have been a couple since 1995. We took the longer, more difficult road getting to wedded bliss. My journaling was done with a old school DYMO label maker. There is a little glare of the plastic, in case you can’t make it out, it reads; ‘My first Christmas as Mrs. Alvarez. I’ve found my heart’s home.’

Here is the right side close up.  Pictured left to right, Ruth Alvarez, Joe Alvarez, and our nice Tati. I cut my title out of A Muse Studio Vanilla cardstock using my Base Camp Cricut cartridge and added the year with my handy dandy DYMO. Notice how the brown mat is cut like a window sill or fireplace mantle? The holly garland is cut from A Muse Studio Sage and Cherry felts using our brand new Spellbinders Exclusive Holly Die Set. The stockings, from A Muse Studio’s new Deck the Halls stamp set, are paper pieced in various colors and patterns and the tacked on the mantle with silver mini brads. Spoiler alert: If you like the stockings and holly – you will love the Kitchen Table Stamp Stamp of the Month kit for November! This layout was actually FUN to make.
