A Muse Studio Angry Bird
Hi Guys!
It’s gotta be another super quick post, I have so much to do! I am behind and need to get caught up! I have to make and send my May thank you notes today. It’s terrible – I know. If I really hustle I might get June thank you noted done too…It’s only about 50 cards – I can do it!
Today, I thought I would share my A Muse Studio Red Angry Bird punch art – well really it’s die art, because that’s what I used to make this big guy. Here are some quick instructions:

Start by cutting the body with the largest circle from the Nestabilities Standard Circle Lg.  I cut one complete circle from Kraft.  I also cut a one from Cherry. Then I ran the Cherry circle back through the machine with the same die to cut the crescent belly.  I layered them together and then added the eyes.  The Sugar pieces are cut with the second smallest Nestabilities Standard Circle Lg. die.  The Onyx eyeball pieces are cut with the very smallest Nestabilities Standard Circle Sm. die.  Once I had the eyes adhered on the body, I cut two of the bracket shape word windows using A Muse Studio’s Word Windows die set.  I snipped them short and at an angle.  They made the perfect angry eye brows.  The top of the beak is a 1 1/4 inch Papaya square cut diagonal in half and adhered with 3D foam adhesive.  The bottom of the beak is a 1 inch Papaya square cut in half on the diagonal.  I adhered the bottom of the beak flat for contrast.  The feathers and tail are cut with an old Basic Grey flower die that I had on the shelf.  You could check your flower punches too.  You are looking for a flower with 6 pointed petals to make the job easy.  The banner is embellished with some A Muse Studio Cherry Bakers Twine.  The thank you stamp is from A Muse Studio’s Let Freedom Ring. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black.  I made over two dozen of these for my son’s birthday thank you.  They came together quick and I got lots of complements from those that received them.
