Hey Guys! Welcome back to our six part Short Cut Card Sketch series! Today we’re taking another look at Short Cut Card Sketch #28, but this time we’re giving it a completely fresh look using products from the May Online Exclusives.
One of my favorite things about card sketches is that they’re meant to inspire you not limit you. Think of a sketch as your starting point. You can rotate it, flip it, add extra layers, remove elements, or change the focal point entirely. That’s exactly what we did with today’s project!
For this card, I created a fun BBQ Master Bundle themed design that’s perfect for Father’s Day, birthdays, thank you or to surprise anyone who loves spending time at the grill.
Sketches Are Meant to Inspire
If you’ve been nervous about cutting into your designer series paper, I hope these Short Cut Card Sketches give you the confidence to jump in and start creating.
Remember, you don’t have to follow every measurement or placement exactly. Use the sketch as inspiration and make it your own!
