Happy thanksgiving all! I wonder if you all know how much you mean to me? Really! Because of you I am challenged everyday, I grow personally and professionally, I learn new skills, I go new places, I try harder, and I live deeper! I am so grateful to you who read and are inspired. I am so thankful for all of you who support my A Muse Studio business through your orders, class attendance and parties. I know I said all this in my recent newsletter, but I want to also say it to any Kitchen Table Stamper Blog readers who might not subscribe to the newsletter. Thank you!
Today I thought I would share a little of the growth you inspire. I have long wanted to take better, more professional photos for your enjoyment. Today is one of the first steps on that journey. These are two of the first pictures taken with a real camera. I don’t know if you know, but all photos on my blog (up to this point) have been take with my cell phone and heavily edited in PSE8. Today I used a Canon Rebel T5i. The first picture is taken on the Close-Up mode where the camera picks the best settings for the picture. The second picture is taken in Manual Exposure with settings I adjusted myself (after watching a couple of YouTube videos). Pretty cool huh?
This little flower basket was dreamed up by my downline Linda and I am posting it today because I promised Kay I would! 😉 I have long been meaning to make one of these baskets with the A Muse Studio Mini Popcorn Box Die. First I cut two pieces of Pebble Petite Hexagon Cardstock using the A Muse Studio Mini Popcorn Box Die. I also cut lots of layers of Melon, Watermelon, Lime and Bermuda A Muse Studio Crepe Paper with the A Muse Studio Flowers Die Set. Before I assembled the Mini Popcorn Box I embellished all four top edges with crepe paper flowers. Click here for crepe paper flower how to VIDEO. When the flowers were secure I assembled the box and added a 1/4″ x 8.5″ Pebble cardstock handle. Pretty and easy.
Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate tomorrow. I hope you will stop back on Friday for a peek at the 12 Days of Christmas tutorials that start this week.
