Hello from your A Muse Studio Consultant! It is a chilly rainy day. I call that stamping weather! I am locked in my studio all day today. There is so much that I have to get done for YOU! I thought I might talk to you today about my creative process. Lots of stampers ask me how I make a card or paper craft project. It varies, but often starts this way:
First I will choose a color palette, I usually do that with A Muse Studio Card Stock. Here I have:
Then once my color palette develops, I grabbed my Amuse stamps. This color palette was begging to be paired with A Muse Studio Bottle Rockets (also available June 2015).
Last step before I get started with the actual card making is to do a mad grab of any A Muse Studio Dies, accessories and embellishments that fit or enhance the theme that is developing.
As you can see from the picture, I don’t hold back! I grab anything that might work or anything that I might want to feature. Obviously I can not use all of this on one handmade card or paper craft project. The object is to get the creative juices flowing and make more than one card or project in a sitting. I need to be efficient to keep you inspired.
Well, that’s it for today. Come back Wednesday for a look at one of the handmade cards I made with this pile of A Muse Studio goodies!
