Swirly Bird Treat Bag Tutorial

Swirly Bird Treat Bag Tutorial
Hey Guys! I have more fun to share from Camp Wanna Stamp! Enjoy this adorable nautical Swirly Bird Treat Bag Tutorial. I found these amazing sail boat treats on Amazon. Do you think the manufactures knew that they were making treats that matched Stampin’ Up! Pool Party, Pacific Point, Real Red, Night of Navy, and Daffodil Delight? Probably not, but it sure is a happy coincidence.

If you are thinking about joining us for Camp Wanna Stamp, please RSVP with your payment soon. I am more than half full for both the in person event and more than half sold on my total number of to go kits. Your payment is your RSVP and secures your kit. You can learn more and register here. Camp Wanna Stamp FAQ

Q: What Stampin’ Up! Stamp Sets do I need to complete my Camp Wanna Stamp to go kit?
A: Message in a Bottle, Butterfly Basics, Swirly Bird, Sweet Home, This Little Piggy, Cool Treats, Tree Rings and Jar of Love. Of course you can substitute where necessary.

Q: What is included in my Camp Wanna Stamp to go kit?
A: Everything that you need to make the project except adhesive, ink and stamps. I do your cutting, scoring, basic die cutting and include all the accessories like buttons, ribbons and bling. Camp Wanna Stamp kits include all the treats, except chocolate kisses – I am afraid they will melt. Your to go kit will also include the badges and felt pennant for displaying your badges when you are not wearing them!

Q: What Stampin’ Pads will I need to complete my Camp Wanna Stamp to go kit?
A: This list is a working list, I still have one project to complete and I might have two bonus projects. Of course you can substitute for similar colors. I use a variety of ink pads so that the in person class moves faster with less projects sharing ink pads.

  • Real Red
  • Pacific Point
  • Night of Navy
  • Pool Party
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Blushing Bride
  • Flirty Flamingo
  • Basic Gray
  • Powder Pink
  • Berry Burst
  • Old Olive
  • Lemon Lime Twist
  • Rich Razzleberry
  • Melon Mambo

Butterfly Basics Mini Treat Bag Tutorial

Butterfly Basics Treat Bag
Hey Guys! Here it the Butterfly Basics Mini Treat Bag Tutorial that I promised yesterday. It is another sneak peek for Camp Wanna Stamp on August 26th. I can not wait to make these with you!!

I have a confession. I think it’s a weakness. I have the hardest time making a 3D project like a treat bag, or party favor or treat box with nothing to fill it. Unless I have a filler and a purpose for the packaging I have a complete blank when it comes to design. I tried really hard to turn that weakness around for Camp Wanna Stamp.

I spent time scouring Amazon for great little treats and gifts. I let the filling inspire the package. I found these adorable butterfly shaped crayons and just KNEW Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Basics stamp set, Butterflies Thinlits Dies, and Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper was going to make AWESOME packaging for these crayons!

Stampin Up Wood Crate with Candy Fruits and updates from Kitchen Table Stamper

Hey Guys! I have a really cute Stampin Up Wood Crate with Candy Fruits project tutorial for you today!

I love this farmers market style wooden crate. The crate, made with Stampin Up Wood Crate Framelits, is about 3 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches deep and tall. It’s got a large capacity and can hold a lot of treats. I wanted to find something that filled the wood crate and was a nice scale to the size of the crate. Because the crate can hold so much, it can get pricey to fill. These Au’some Candy Fruits were the perfect find! I am so pleased with them! I included an Amazon link below if you are interested, check them out.

August Class Update

It continues to be quiet on the blog – I am starting to get back on track after a few weeks of family stuff.

Garden In Bloom Stationary Set

The cards are all made for the August 14th card making class, however the ribbon for the card box is on back order. The set isn’t complete…yet. I will share the project without the ribbon soon if I have too. I want to give you all ample time to get registered. Keep an eye on the blog for the video and registration links.

Stampin Up Colorful Seasons Covered Note Pad Tutorial

    Colorful Seasons Covered Note Pad
Hey Guys! I have a fun Stampin Up Colorful Seasons covered note pad tutorial for you today. I made some of these with the new Tranquil Tide 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon and Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper to send. They are a quick craft to make a very cute to give.

I included an Amazon link to the 5 in 1 note pads I used. They are 5 35-sheet tablets in one. You just tear them apart at the chipboard backing and cover them. The 3 1/2 x 5″ size is nice for a purse or a bag.

I need to get out to the grocery store so I can get dinner done. I volunteered for a meal train for a friend who is fighting breast cancer.

It continues to be a very full and busy summer. I need to move my caboose. I will be back next week with a couple of tutorials for you if all goes to plan.

I am thinking the next 4 weeks will be two a week blogs so I can spend some time with the kids before they go back to school. I continue to be just a call or text away (847)922-6795. Thank you for spending some of your summer day with me!

    Lemon Zest Glassine Treat Bag

    Lemon Zest Glassine Treat Bag
Hey Guys! Here is the Lemon Zest Glassine Treat Bag tutorial that I promised.

I mentioned in this post that things are going to be a little quiet around here. It’s wild busy here getting ready for our 18th Annual Independence Day Bash. Now I am also preparing for some out of town company from July 7th through July 11th. It’s crazy town here! I am so looking forward to my Indiana family coming to visit. I don’t see them often enough. Next week will be light too, but I AM HERE just a text away!

Now on to the Lemon Zest glassine treat bag tutorial. I made these bags for the girls on my Stmapin Up team who participated in my 2017-18 Stampin Up Catalog Designer Series Paper Sampler. I run a paper sampler when new catalogs are released. It’s a good way for my customers, and for demonstrators on my team, to get an up close look at all the new Stampin Up Designer Series Paper before committing to buying a whole pack of any one design. Awesome. When you are a member of my Stampin Up team, you get a discount on the paper sampler! Double awesome.

Join my Stampin’ Up! team HERE – wait til July 1st though, trust me.

These are the treat bags I sent as a thank you. They would make great DIY Party Favors, thank you gifts or would be a nice way to present a gift card.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a happy and safe Independence Day.
